Waist beads, Spirituality, and Christianity
When it comes to waist beads possessing special powers, Christian beliefs do not align with the school of thought of using traditional or fetish means to lure men or heal sicknesses. Christians believe in only one God who is seen as a supreme being who they depend on for their healing or personal desires. As far back in the old testament in the bible which Christians use as a guide, One of the ten commandments states that Christians shall have no other gods before God(a supreme being which Christians serve) Also in the new testament, Jesus Christ who is the son of God is the only one that Christians are supposed to depend on for their problems or desires. Every other means should not be tolerated.
The use of waist beads as charms can clearly not be used by a Christian.
